Canyon Springs was originally part of I.B. Perrine’s Blue Lakes Ranch. In the 1950s, the land was acquired from Perrine’s heirs for a sporting club on the north side of the Snake River. A nine-hole golf course was constructed a few years later and in 1987, an additional nine holes were added to the course. Canyon Springs has won numerous awards since its opening, including best course in the region.. They’ve also hosted many tournaments and state championships, like the Idaho Amateur Golf Championships.
