Port Angeles Crab Fest: Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival 2015

Celebrate the Olympic Peninsula’s cultural and culinary heritage this weekend at the 14th Annual Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival in Port Angeles, Washington. Taking place on the second weekend in October every year since 2001, CrabFest is a free festival at the Downtown Port Angeles waterfront October 9-11, 2015, bringing a slew of seafood and crab from a variety of vendors, all freshly caught for the occasion.

Held on the Port Angeles City Pier, the Dungeness Crab Festival is the ultimate destination for lovers of seafood and Pacific Northwest cuisine. But there is a lot more than fresh seafood to explore at CrabFest! Arts and crafts stations, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, and assortment of sports events including the CrabFest 5K Fun Run are just some of the great things to do in Port Angeles during the festival.

Feel like a fisherman during the Grab-a-Crab Derby, where you can catch your own crab for a delicious dinner cooked onsite. Watch an exhibition by the Olympic Peninsula Rowing Association and participate in rowing classes on Hollywood Beach. Cook up a storm to benefit veterans during the Chowder Cook-Off, open to amateurs and professionals. Take in the sounds of the sea when the eclectic lineup of musicians and bands from around the world take the stage. CrabFest has something for everyone!
